Find out which of the many causes listed here is the one affecting your Excel, or Export as PDF and print that.
Thanks for the response.
So this is exactly what we are doing.
Enter the correct paper size, thickness, and colour on the printer when the paper is loaded.
On the printer settings, in excel, we also set it to the desired paper size.
What is odd is that occcasionally it will work (once yesterday - not since).
If you look at the print screen, you see that paper size is custom. After I try to print, and it fails, paper size says 'letter'.
Thanks!
The paper size option is greyed out
And don't forget the size in Excel, it will over-ride the driver just like Word.
Page Layout > Page Setup > Paper > Paper Size
Hi,
on the machine side
load the paper on the Bypass tray and then you will get on the control panel the paper settings screen
touch the size option and scroll to custom and enter the paper size for the height and width (3.5x14")
and on the same screen modify what media type you are using.
on the PC side
on the printer preferences add the custom paper size as you can see in the attachment

Hello,
I am printing from Excel to a custom size page (3.5" x 14"), cardstock, through the bypass tray.
I can set up these setting in the printer properties, but the job won't print.
And the print page, which shows a sample of what the print job will look like, looks correct at first, then the print job sends, looks like it will work, but fails, then defaults back to letter size paper.
This used to work - but has stopped recently.
Thanks for any help,
Amber
