ive a brand new C230 colour laser printer and i am struggling to be able to get a full page colour photo printed.
printer has had firmware updated, full reset/memory erase, rebooted etc.
using windows 10, i can print a colour photo at 4*6", and the full photo in B&W... but if i try to print at `full page` uin Colour the printer goes busy, then after a few mins then stops. i see `memory full 38.01` error.
ive tried this on 2 laptops and 1 android phone. same error.
the photo is 9Mb, the printer supposedly has 256Mb..
is this a bug ?
i rasied it with support but they are a bit slow and are busy trying to register my new warranty before they can help.
i have the same issue!. newest firmware and driver software.
Did you manage to get an official answer from Support?
For me the printer is close to a glorified paper weight without the ability to print coloured pages.
Hey stav242,
I tried the PCLm driver on Windows and it did work! Thank you very much for the tip.
For a high res image we had to resize it to be smaller, but the quality still acceptable. Overall we are happy that we can at least print a full colour image with the printer.
Also, installing the latest drivers on Mac (instead of the default), allowed us to print too. Albeit, on Mac it's a lot slower than on Windows.
I'm facing the same issue. PCLm driver works fine but Airprint is still a problem. I'm going to rise a case at Xerox support.
Xerox support department is closed during the weekend :(.
However, I could print images taken in portrait mode via Airprint without any problem. It seems that Airprint doesn't support images taken in landscape mode...
