We are currently having issues with our drivers and downloads page. I've been told they are working on resolving the issue ASAP.
My printer cannot update firmware. I presume this is due to expired certificates.
I therefore try to download firmware directly from the Xerox support pages.
I understand the need to transition to the bridge firmware, then on to the latest. My printer is currently on the bridge firmware.
If I try to download the file linked from the PDF (for instance) https://download.support.xerox.com/pub/drivers/VLC405/firmware/win10/ar/687121_VL_C405_E.zip then download stops after 8.4MB. Consistently. I have tried multiple networks (i.e. more than one ISP), multiple devices, multiple operating systems.If I try to download I service pack, I get HTTP/403 from the links on your site.
Please confirm the full availability of firmware for the C405
