C75 Opening my print shop Printer won't work

I had to get a new Fiery and everything been good

Yeah I got a USB key from the suppliers of the Printer, but it never worked.

They beleive that it's corrupted so do I. they never tested it before sending it

I've been trying fro the last 4 days to get them to send me another but no luck

If the Fiery makes it to the point where it displays 00 in the 2 digit display on the Fiery it means it made it through POST, so the hardware is not at fault.

But that doesn't mean the Fiery booted up, either the Linux OS could fail, or when the Linux portion completes, the Fiery software could have failed, and it is near impossible as far as I know to troubleshoot to find out which is the case.

So that leaves the reload, which is done by USB key.

But it can't be done unless you have the software for the Fiery, but if you do, you can grab the USB prep tool from here.

You said in your post you had an External Fiery that doesn't work, you never mentioned a 2nd integrated Fiery.

And just so there is no confusion.

External Fiery is a Windows Tower PC that runs Windows 7

Integrated Fiery is a Linux PC that is strapped to the back of the printer that has no GUI (So no KB,Monitor or mouse can be used)

Integrated Controller is internal, handles copy and scan and has no print ability at all.

the funny thing is that the seller didn't even tell me it wouldn't work without it had they done that I would of already sent this back two days ago and maybe got ti back (seeing I live in the Caribbean)

However if I have integrated Fiery how come I'm still not being able to get stuff printed.

It's impossible, the C75 is just a copier, it is in no way able to interpret a print job, you must have it hooked up to a Fiery or Freeflow, otherwise it is just a copier.

Hi there I bought a refurbished C75 Press.

It came with a external Fiery but for soem reason it went bad

I'm trying to print directly to the printer but keep getting postscript errors.

I've been unable to get much proper assistance from the folks i bought the printer from

Can you guys please give me some suggestions

I'm already getting calls from the bank for loan payment I'm paying staff, and I haven't been able to print 1 signle sheet of paper
