Re: C75 keeps printing a canceled job

From the printer side you can only change its IP address, that way the job being submitted will have no place to go, and will eventually fault. But that would of course break the driver installs on all the other PC's as well.

If lucky, you could kill it off on the PC with Photoshop assuming it is still there and not on a print server somewhere sharing out the printer driver. Just disconnect from the network, close all applications and go to Start > Run > services.msc

scroll down to Print Spooler and right-click Stop

Then browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete everything.

Open Phototshop, wait 5 minutes and verify nothing automagically appears in said folder. Then reboot the PC.

Re: C75 keeps printing a canceled job

Hi SJMC,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Try stopping the spooler and then power off and back on the printer.  Start the spooler again.  If this does not clear the problem please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

C75 keeps printing a canceled job

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I was going to print 38 copies of something from Photoshop yesterday, then remembered what a tedious process that is, so I canceled the job and printed a PDF version of the document instead.

After I left for the day, the canceled Photoshop job started printing the 38 copies and it did it at least two dozen times. Today, that same job keeps popping up and printing every 15 minutes or so and I have to cancel it before all 38 copies are printed yet again.

I've cleared and rebooted the server, but that didn't help. Shutting things down for a while didn't either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.
