Re: C8035 Fuser unit does not fix properly

I've replaced the fuser assembly, replaced all developers, toners and still I'm having this issue.

I can't believe this machine can't work as expected.

I think it just need to be printed even more slow or hotter than the actual values and I can't figure it out how to do that, all chain links related to smear prints don't solve this issue.

Such a pain in the ...

Re: C8035 Fuser unit does not fix properly

Thank you for your response, I did tried the first solution mentioned in toner rubs off, but replacing the fuser, so I supposed I do have to try and watch results.

Also, for banner page I mean wider media for printing, not just printing a print job info page.

Any other idea?

Re: C8035 Fuser unit does not fix properly

Hello valdemarpr,

I couldn't find anything about adjusting the fuser temp like on our Phaser products.  I did find two articles for you to review below that may be of assistance.

If you are still having issues after trying these steps, I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100

Toner rubs off the prints.

How to enable the Banner Page.

Thanks,

C8035 Fuser unit does not fix properly

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: macOS 10.14 - Mojave

Hi, thanks for reading, I'm having a printing issue that I can't find how to solve:

I usually print different types of papers with different weights for different purposes; including bond paper, coated cardstock, adhesive paper, and heavyweight coated cardstock.

The fault occurs when I usually print multiple copies of a file with a lot of graphics, even with the correct settings, the toner comes off the sheet, I tried to change the setting to a heavier type of media, but it only works for light and medium papers in some cases; but for heavy papers like heavyweight cardstock this method rarely works.

Is there a way how to reset or reconfigure the fuser to increase the temperature or decrease the fusing speed, like phaser series does? also, Why I can't print Banner sheets like Phaser series does too?

I currently use the glossy heavywheight cardstock type for all the media I print, since it is the only way I waste less paper and toner as possible.

Thanks for your comments.
