we have several customers, and smart esolutions is working perfectlt fine, we did the test, and communication status from webinterface is succesfull
also we never see the smart eolsutions error message when its not able to connect to xerox
but, even if there was a smart e error or connectivity issue, the machine shouldnt send each 2 minutes the same mail over and over again
so your solution is NOT a solution :)
Resolve the reason why it can't talk to Xerox in the esolutions section of centreware or simply disable esolutions
I take it you checked the Alert Notifications on the device, to make sure that your email address isn't populated in more than one location ?
I am thinking that increasing / decreasing the warning levels as a test.
Depending on the device -> CWIS -> Genteral Setup -> Alert Notification
if you have a machine with older firmware , and setup email alerts, machine are spamming now mails like below, each 2 minutes... so you mailbox is full of mails like this
i know already fw .28600 and .34300 are impacted
upgrade to latest : 073.xxx.058.25300, contact xerox to obtain it, since its NOT lised on the xerox support/downloads pages
best to upgrade to a newer firmware
