CRUM ID Reseat Cyan Cartridge 093-962

Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi Folks,

I have a Xerox Workcentre 6027 that I bought new in March 2020, just out of warranty unfortunately. I am replacing the cyan toner cartridge for the first time, but keep getting the error: "CRUM ID Reseat Cyan Cartridge 093-962". I am using original OEM Xerox cartridges. At first I thought the toner cartridge was defective, so I returned it and got a new one, but still get the same error. That is two new cyan OEM cartridges that the printer still doesn't accept. Any ideas?

Hello mrtito02,

There are a few things that could be happening. You could have a genuine cartridge but not the right one for your region or it could be a metered cartridge for a non metered device or vice versa. Lastly, it could be a defective cartridge. I would recommend checking the part number off the old cartridge that was last known to work in your device, and see if that matches exactly the part number of the new cartridge.
