Thanks, jvmaitri. I found that this worked for me.
We have had the same problem but it was a behind the scenes print setting we had not seen when we printed our calibration pages.
Under colomatching, choose colorsync and select your icc profile.
Under xerox features, color options, choose custom color options, choose color correction and choose "None" from the drop down menu
Under xerox features, advanced, choose allow software to manage halftones and spot colors.
Save these settings as a preset and you won't have to do this everytime. We use this setting for printing all of our files and it is working so far!

Thanks for the reply,
The spectrophotometer which I am using is an X-Rite product. I do not understand why I should need to spend another $500 on something I alredy own. Do you know of any other way I can create profiles for the Phaser 7800 using the i1Pro2 ?
Thanks again
Ben
Hi benk123.
Thank you for using the forum.
PhaserMatch 5 supports a variety of spectrophotometers for printer Calibration.
PhaserMatch 5 only supports the PhaserMeter for the creation of profiles. No other spectrophotometers are supported for the creation of profiles.
This is designed so as to align with the licensing agreement with X-Rite.
If you need further assistance with calibation I recommend that you call Support to discuss further: 1-800-835-6100
I have also included a link to our product Knowledge base solution titled: General Information About PhaserMatch and PhaserMeter
a moment ago
We took delivery of our Phaser 7800 DN today. I have also been trying to calibrate it and create profiles for it especially custom colour profiles. I have run into a rather large problem. We own an i1Pro2 Spectrophotometer so we didn't even consider purchasing the Photometer. I have been able to calibrate the 7800 using the i1Pro2 since I was given the option in the drop-down list. However most other calibration functions of PhaserMatch 5 require the use of the PhotoMeter. In these cases PhaserMatch doesn't even recognise i1Pro2.
Can you please look into this since we are eager to utilise all of our 7800's capability.
Thanks
Ben
