Hi johnaparker.

Thank you for using the forum.

You may want to check out the knowledgebase for the Phaser 6022.

This article may help you:

Configure the Fault Timeout

The fault timeout is how long the printer waits before canceling a print job that stops abnormally.

  1. Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'Admin Menu' is selected on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
NOTE: Users may be required to enter a 4-digit password to access the Admin Menu. If prompted, enter the password and press [OK]. The default password is "0000".
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'System Setup' is selected on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  4. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'Fault Timeout' is selected on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.

Can I configure my Phaser 6022 to NOT Keep Reprinting when Paper is Worng Size

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Morning Xerox community.

I recently purchased a Phaser 6022. I created a custom paper size (5x7) and attempted to print a photo.  It turned out my HP photo paper was too heavy to pass through so I resorted to using regular paper - size (8.5x11) and weigth. The printer printed the 5x7 image (centered at the top) but then started flashing that the paper size was wrong. Every time I pulled and reinserted the paper tray the same thing occurred.

Eventually I found how to cancel the job (Duh!!), but wondered if there was a configuration option so that if the printer failed it would then flush the job automatically?

I understand that I shot myself in the foot here, and that I had the option to cancel the failing job all along, but wish I could "instruct" the printer to fail and give up on it's own.

Trivial question I admit. Still...

Thanks!
