I was finally able to figure this out. I deleted the printer and reinstalled the Windows 7 driver. It worked fine and these are the port settings that work. I hope this helps someone as I've spent too many hours on it already.
IP address, there is no "http://"
LPR is checked
Raw settings 515
LPR Setting queue name lp
LPR byte counting is checked
SNMP status is checked
Community name is public
Device index is 1
These settings work for me.
Thanks, yes, it was not set to LPR so i changed it according to your directions. Still no printing!
Any ideas?
Hi,
Check the port to be on TCP/IP and not WSD. MS convert the port to WSD. If it is so, click right on the print driver and click on „Printer Properties”, click on „Ports” tab, click on „Add port”, select „Standard TCP/IP port” , click on „New port” and set an IP and in the next window click „Finish”.
After that click again on ''Ports'' tab click on "Configure port" and change from RAW to LPR, at the Queue name write "lp" and be sure to unchecked "LPR Byte Counting Enable" and "SNMP Status Enabled".

Just got a new PC and installed the printer. I can see the printer page at 192.168.0.22 (static IP) but can't print a test page or from any app. I'm stumped.
From the printer I can print the Settings page and it shows the correct IP address and a status of "Ready".
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Bob
