Re: Can't print to bypass tray

Thanks Cathy. But, as I noted above, I have done that already.

Re: Can't print to bypass tray

Hello mpounsett,

I would recommend un-installing and re-installing the printer with the Xerox 10.15 print driver.

Thanks,

Can't print to bypass tray

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I've recently upgraded to Catalina on my Mac, and it looks like this has stopped me from being able to print to the bypass tray on my WorkCentre 6515 DNI.  I have downloaded and installed the latest driver (5.5.2).

I typically have the bypass tray loaded with a light cardstock, and print from that tray regularly.  I'm used to simply going to the Paper Feed settings in the print dialogue to force a document to the Bypass Tray, and it works.  This is no longer working and the printer always prints from Tray 1.

I have tried going into the Xerox Features dialogue and setting the paper type, but that doesn't seem to work; the printer directs me to load the cardstock into Tray 1.  I have tried with the paper type set and the paper feed set at both automatic and forced to the bypass tray.  In both cases, the printer still tries to print from Tray 1.

The paper type in the bypass tray is set to 8.5x11, light cardstock, white.  I've checked tray priorities; Tray 1 is set to priority 1, and the bypass to priority 2.  I've tried swapping priorities, but that had no effect.

I have also tried deleting and recreating the printer device on my Mac, and rebooting the printer.

What else should I be looking at to get this working again?
