Re: Cannot Access Web Interface With New WorkCentre 3335

Good evening,

Some further progress and new problems.

The printer shows that it is connected to the wifi network. In addition, the web interface - shown below - also indicates a wifi connection.

So, what's the problem? I can't print from Windows via WiFi (only USB works). :-(

Where do we go from here?

what does this picture pointing to the lower left button supposed to mean?  It does not help get in connection on the web interface.

Hi!

None of the buttons are labelled. What does the "Machine Status" button look like on the WorkCentre 3335?

Go to the printer and switch it to wireless now so it will switch wired to wireless.

Machine Status button, then touch Network Settings > Network Connectivity > Wireless.

Re: Cannot Access Web Interface With New WorkCentre 3335

Hello,

I managed to find a way to disable the audio/beep notifications. It was buried deep in the printer menu.

I am able to print and scan with the printer when using a USB connection.

I am able to open the web interface via an Ethernet connection. However, I get a strange error message (see screenshot below) when I attempt to enable WiFi. How do I solve this?

Re: Cannot Access Web Interface With New WorkCentre 3335

1. The printer isn't on the network, a 169 address is a failed address, meaning your router never gave it an IP address. If you can print, it must be over WiFi Direct or a USB connection.Either verify the cable connection or see here to give it an IP,

2. I can't find anything about setting the volume in any documentation or any Knowledgebase for the device. I'm pretty sure it can be done, but I don't have access to one to confirm/find out.

Cannot Access Web Interface With New WorkCentre 3335

Product Name: WorkCentre 3335/3345
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Good afternoon,

I have a newly purchased (installed Feb 1, 2020) WorkCentre 3335. I have connected it to my laptop by Ethernet cable. I can print a test page. I can also print the "Configuration Report."

There are two problems I need to fix.

1. I cannot access the web interface. I want to access that so that I can set up WiFi access.

Note: I have printed the "Configuration Report." This document provides an IP Address (currently: 169.254.209.29). When I attempt to access this IP address by Firefox or Internet Explorer, I get an error message as shown in the screenshot below.

2. Disable ALL beeps/audio notifications from the printer.

The printer regularly makes beeps and other audio sounds with each button press, start up and so forth. I would like to DISABLE ALL SOUNDS on the printer. How do I make that happen?
