Hello tony-s,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.
I just purchased a C230 for wireless printing but I cannot get it connected to my Velop wi-fi. The printer came with a CD but I don't have CD drives on my Macs, so I have not idea what might be on it.
At any rate, I tried using the printer's menu as detailed on page 50 of the manual, but when I enter my password for the wifi network I get the error message "Cannot associate with the network." I am certain the password is entered correctly. I have ensured that it is set up according to the manual.
Settings > Network/Ports > Network Overview > Active Adapter > Auto
My Velop is WPA2/WPA3. Might this be the issue?
There is no ethernet or USB cable connected to the printer.
The manual also states to ensure the firmware is current by directly connecting to the printer via its IP address; however, the address on the printer's display is 0.0.0.0 and entering it in my web browser results in connection error message, so I cannot connect to it.
The manual also says there's an app for my iPhone called "Xerox Easy Assist" but when I search the App Store it isn't there.
One other thing that is extremely frustrating is that if I press the "back" button on the panel, it invariably takes to to the "Date" set up panel and then all the buttons freeze. The only thing I can do is power off the printer and start over.
Thanks for any tips you can provide.
