Re: Cannot print from LAN

Hi, CathyO-

Thank you. I had actually already uninstalled and re-installed the new print driver (June '22) before I posted my question.  That unfortunately did not solve the problem.

After posting my question, I was able to get the laptop to successfully print to the Phaser 7500 by connecting the laptop directly to the printer with the USB cable.  However, this is not a practical solution, as we have more than one new Windows 11 laptop in the office, and the LAN is the most practical way to connect all of them to the printer, and none of them can print over the LAN right now.

I will call tech support as you suggest.

Thanks.

Re: Cannot print from LAN

Hello kkwetzel3,

For this printing issue, I recommend you uninstall and reinstall the Xerox Print Driver. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact Support: 1-800-821-2797.

Thanks,

Cannot print from LAN

Product Name: Phaser 7500
Operating System: Windows 11

I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 11, and I am unable to print to my Phaser 7500 over the LAN using this laptop. I have installed the latest print drivers, dated June 22.  I can print to the Phaser 7500 using older Windows 10 computers, and the new Win11 laptop will print to other printers connected to the LAN.  I am able to access the printer interface using the web browser and the IP address for the printer, and in all regards, the laptop seems to recognize that the printer is there. If I print pages from the web interface using the Win11 laptop, the printer will print the pages.  However, if I try to send a Print Test Page from the laptop or a try to print a file from the laptop, nothing happens.  The print queue never shows a file showing up as processing.  It seems like the Win11 print spooler is simply not talking to this printer. Has anyone else had this experience?  I am surprised that I have not found other posts here reporting a similar problem.
