Check that you are printing to IP instead of WSD port
Check that the driver is also installed on your remote desktop. It will be greyed out under devices and printers if no driver installed.

I've just setup a workcentre 3225 on my home wifi network and it works prefectly (exept airprint). I'm using a remote desktop session for my work, through a vpn connexion and printing doesnt works. Here is my configuration steps :
- I've installed Workcentre 3225 drivers on server, create a local printer then activate share on it.
- I've restarted Print Spool service
- When i connect on my remote session, i've a printer Xerox 3225 on virtuel redirected ports that comes
- When i print i got an error : Print error on Xerox .... Cannot print
Anyone already facing this issue ? I had a Dell and HP before and it worked without any problems
