From the details here, it would seem the pdf files are all A4 sized, and A4 isn't loaded, or it would print.
So I listed all the ways I know of countering the issue, I'm not sure which applies to you.
And of course Preview probably means you have a Mac, so the screenshots in the driver don't quite apply, so you would have to dig a bit in those.
Thanks a lot for your detailed response. It solved the problem.
I should change my paper size from "A4" to "US Letter" in order to print using "Preview" and "AdobeAcrobat".
Thanks,
Bahareh
So I assume you don't have the A4 paper loaded that the pdf is composed of?
If not, change the size in Acrobat/reader ala
And/or
Please note, if this is checked, nothing done anywhere will matter, the driver can't over-ride this option
Hi Joe,
Thanks for your response.
I did what you asked me to do.
Here is the info I got from the "Completed" tab on the printer's touchscreen:
"""" WorkCentre 7120

I have also attached some pictures from the touchscreen in case if it helps.
Your response would be really appreciated.
Please let me know if you need any further information in order to figure out the problem.

You don't need a driver for every app, that would be insane.
So the applications are sending something different, to find out what the fault is, go to the printer and go to Job status > Completed Jobs and touch one of them after it fails, it should say why it failed, report back waht it says on the screen and we can go from there.
Hi,
I have installed the driver for WC 7120 on my Mac v.10.13 High Sierra, downloaded from here.
I could set up the driver, add my accounting ID and user ID successfully. I can easily print a word document with no problem. The problem is that whenever I want to print a pdf using "Preview" and "Adobe Acrobat", the pdf file from my Mac is sent to the printer successfully after accounting pop-up is shown, also, the printer receives my pdf document, but its status changes to "Held" on the printer's touch-screen and nothing is printed. However, with a word document, there is no problem.
I don't have any problem in setting my accounting ID as I have checked with my supporting IT service.
Is there any issue regarding setting up the driver for printing pdf files? Do I need to install the driver for pdf documents one more time (though I don't think the driver is the issue as it's working with Microsoft Word)?
Your help is appreciated in advance.
Bests,
Bahareh
