Hi ChrisNOAA,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
We cannot print to any of our standard Xerox printers from macOS 12. The two models we have are ColorQube 8880 and Phaser 4600. The latest drivers for the ColorQube, version 5.8.0, are installed. No drivers for the Phaser are available for macOS 12 so none are installed.
After adding the ColorQube via the Printers & Scanners dialog, by selecting the printer after it is autodetected, everything seems OK. The status shows as Idle with a green status icon. The only odd issue is that the Supply Levels tab shows Information Not Available. Attempting to print anything, either a test page or from an application, does not work. The job status given in the Print Queue is "Ready to Print - 'Backend' failed". This occurs on two of three printers, the third works fine. Of the two that fail to print one of them also gives a Media Path Jammed error. Physically checking the printer shows no error messages on the screen and no jam is found when checking all possible entry points.
For the Phasers a single print job is possible. Then they stop working with an Out of Paper error. Physically checking all of them shows that they have paper, both on the indicator and within the tray.
Any assistance with this would be helpful. I will also be testing in Windows 10 shortly and will post those results.
