Considering the printer is only CMYK capable and therefore converts RGB to CMYK because it has to, you must be talking of a specific application here. And the option is definitely available in most Print Applications, and is obviously independent of the printer, because the options are there for simulation.
So Adobe CC has it, typically under the Color Management heading in the app print dialogue
And those same options are available outside real print applications under the Color Matching headings in the driver
So you are going to need to be much more specific in your question
