I have same problem. Error 093-963 but toner is brand new. What is the fix? Thank you.

It is possible to be a problem with CRUM (chip) reader (contact).

I have a Workcenter 3615.  It often will show on the screen "toner chip error". I take out the toner cartridge and put it back in.  Sometimes the printer will resume printing, sometimes I then get "toner cartridge missing". I again remove the toner and shake it.  Sometimes then the printer will work again.  Today I have a "toner chip error" and then "toner cartridge missing" errors.  I have always used Xerox toners.

I purchased the machine in 2014.  I have read to service the machine will be around $300 - should I just replace the machine? Thanks in advance.
