Citrix and Workcenter 7535

Hello

 

We install à new  Wokcenter 7525 in a citrix evironnement, when user try to print print spooler stop with error code below.

 

we have test all latest drivers ps pcl and  pcl6, same problem

 

For solution we have install printer with "universal laser printer ps3" , print is ok but  2 trail are missing

 

XEROX WORKCENTER 7535

Firmware version :

Version: 061.121.222.06507

thanks i look this,

 

We have specific problem between citrix xenapp and workcenter drivers

 

with 7535 drivers printing are impossible from virtual session,

 

Users dont have access to trail and printing preferences.

 

We use Xerox phaser in the same server, no problem with it :)

Hi ludovic,

 

Quick question so I can understand you instalation. You say that when you use the WC drivers on citrix virtual envirnoment some properties of the driver do not display.

 

you also mentioned that the technology in use is XenApp. Are you virtualizing the driver or print console as an app or your driver is installed on a normal VM (describe is XenDesktop is in use) and the problem is when you open a deployed app (byXenapps) and when you go File print... then you are not able to see the properties?

Thanks for your  help

 

We use xendesktop session into à wyse , the drivers is Citrix Universal printer in virtual session

(Standard xerox drivers are installed in the spooler.)

 

With xerox driver with advanced feature propertie are unavailable into a citrix session

when i disabled advanced feature propertie are available but printing fail

 

We contact a technical from xerox france we identify a compatibility problem (printer
doen't appear in citrix compatibility list below)

For the moment we use a generic hp drivers PCL6 printiing and spooler are ok but

without color,

I might be wrong here but this link provides a compatability document dated 2009 and 75xx was released Sept 2010. Therefore would not be part of this document.

 

What happens is attempt to use Global print driver and make sure you configure the device to 75xx. Or alternate with a Generic Colour multifunction (you might loose specific features such as stapling, hole-punch or other finished features)

We use citrix XenAPP 6.5 , 7535 are compatible with 5.0 64-bit, 5.0 32-bit, 4.5 32-bit

 

With the global driver pcl6 and other xerox drivers we have the same problem.

 

printer working only with windows generic ps3 ans hp driver.

Unfortunately I do not have way to recreate your environment.

I do have XenClient and XenDesktop (deployed via receiver and Gateway) and on these scenarios I did not find any problems...

 

Next week I might get in contact with some thin clients and I could run a quick test... but I can not assure I will be able to do it or their will be wyse.

 

Did you try opening a ticket with local support for replication purposes?
