Cleaning test pages

Hello,

Our Xerox ColorQube 9303/9302/9301 prints cleaning 3 cleaning test pages/superior printing test pages every morning.

No change was done to the printer lately, but this happens every morning.

Did anyone had this same problem before?

Thanks!

Re: Cleaning test pages

Run a Disk Overwrite via CWIS > Security > Image Overwrite Security > Disk Overwrite > Overwrite Now > Start Disk Overwrite Now

after that completes (20-30 minutes is likely) run a software reset via the printer control panel Machine Status > Tools . Resets > Software Resets > All Software > Reset

Nothing will be lost. It will just delete corrupted stuck jobs (First step) and then go looking for and hopefully fix Software/firmware glitches

Re: Cleaning test pages

Our printer is in french...are there any french documentation to follow, based on your recommendation?

Re: Cleaning test pages

I would not know about french, I'm sure google translate would do well enough to get you through it.

Re: Cleaning test pages

Salut,

If you want instructions in french as to how to do a image overwrite, just follow either one of these links:

Effectuer un nettoyage image manuel à partir du panneau de commande
Effectuer un nettoyage image manuel via les Services Internet CentreWare (CWIS)

BUT know that when the ColorQube is ejecting these cleaning pages, it is normally because it has been doing calibation, adjustment and cleaning and if it is doing this more frequently than before, maybe it is because there is a problem underlying all this. Take a look in Machine Status (État Machine) on UI and notice if there is a number under Service Code. If there is anything else other than a 0, you should call for a Xerox Technician. Your machine is telling you that there is something wrong with her and need attention.

Hope you success! Bon succès!

K.
