Solved! The latest drivers fixed the issue. THANK YOU XEROX!!!!!!
I'm on a Mac :(. I only see one option for drivers:
Probably a PCL driver on the HP and a PS driver on the Xerox.
PCL tends to ignore transparency, PS sees it as something there and occasionally messes it up (Most often as a shadow)
In short, install the 7855 PCL driver and give it a go.
Hello. We have a Xerox 7855 MFP.
If we create a document or a graphic (in any application) where a text box with a 100% transparent background is placed on top of a black background, the black doesn't print smoothly. The text box area is a tiny-bit different 'shade' of black.
It's very bizarre. We've replicated this in Word, Powerpoint, Google Docs, Google Slides.
Printing the exact same file to our HP printer comes out perfectly.
Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!
