Hi Chris,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. You can find contact information for Europe Here.
We also have the same issue. These colorqube printers work fine until you need to replace the maintenance kit. The second you do the printer leaves ink/oil/smears and is totally unusable. You then not only have no printer but also you're out of pocket over £100 for the maintenance kit you've just purchased. Can you please advise of a UK email address for Xerox customer support.
Hi KathrynA21,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solutions for black streaks or these solutions for white streaks. If these do not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I have the same problem. My Xerox colorqube 8880 is just 14 months old. I replaced the maintenance kit a week ago and have since had vertical streaks on every sheet.
I contact Xerox but it will cost nearly half the original cost of the machine to have an engineer call out. Not cost effective for me.
The machine and inks are very expensive, bit this is too much!
Propably It seems that the drum wiper blade has been contaminated
and it needs to be replaced by a xerox tech as soon as possibe.
Hi Jane1,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please also make sure you have followed the solutions for smears. If none of these clear the smears then please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Every time we replace the maintenance kit, our printings have ink smears on them. Could you please tell me why and how to fix this problem. We tried the standard procedure for cleaning ink smears using "Troubleshooting>Print Quality Problems> Remove Print Smears" and it doesn't work.
