since the strat up page is printing in color mode and the issue is happened from more than App then check you driver settings Both Prining Defaults & Printer Preferences and make sure the color mode is selected otherwise try to unistall the driver and reinstall it again .
Just as the Subject indicates, our Phaser 6180N prints in B&W for color text from Word Docs, PDFs ect; however, when the machine is powered on, it will print the initial configuration page in color.
