Probably the worst printer I have ever owned. Difficult to operate, heavy on ink consumption and had to be left on otherwise each time it started up it would waste ink printing an entire coloured sheet. You cannot laminate the copies - the ink melts. It just refused to start up one day and on investigation I discovered other people have had the same problem
Hi deutschzilla,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. I apologize for your frustration. Please take a look at the solutions for wrong ink sticks. If these solutions do not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I have two 8570 printers. I just purchased this second machine from a local printer solutions company. I am getting an error that says please remove the incorrect ink stick. I had a xerox maintenance agreement for five years and never called xerox. The first time I had a problem, it wasn't covered and my machine became a giant paper weight. Because the only solution Xerox could offer me was to buy a new machine. I cancelled my maintenance agreement and spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on subpar inkjet printers. For two years Xerox called me and asked me to pay my maintenance fees and for two years I told them that my printer doesn't work and I haven't used it and had cancelled my maintenance agreement. Manager after manager called me to say they were sorry and to offer solutions and then to never be heard from again. Sick to my stomach with how I was treated by Xerox, I finally bought a new machine. Apparently I need a snippet of code to fix my machine, but I don't have a maintenance agreement. Mostly because I haven't been able to get anyone from Xerox to call me back from filing out countless contact forms and phone calls. Just make my machine work.
Also, I just noticed that my original Xerox ink blocks are marked "C" on the back and the machine I have says it works with "A" and "D" blocks only.
