We have the wax printer 8580 at my work and when we turn it on, it sits on the "printing page 1" screen for a few minutes. After nothing happening, the error code in the title appears and the printer restarts. It goes through the initializing procedures as normal and gets stuck at the same spot until the process repeats.
With the wax printers, they have to print out the cleaning sheet before a print job can be sent which is what the "page 1" is referring to.
We have unplugged the printer, restarted it, and the error keeps happening.
