Re: ColorQube 8580 : WASTING PAPER every time it is switched on!

Hi IanTM

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please try the following to turn of the startup report.

  1. Access the machine's web interface (CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)). To access CWIS open a browser and enter the IP address of the printer. NOTE: Users may be required to login as a System Administrator to view or modify settings within CentreWare Internet Services. If prompted, login using the System Administrator username and password. The default username is "admin", and the default password is "1111".
  2. Click on [Properties] at the top of the page.
  3. Click on [General] on the left side of the page to expand the list of options.
  4. Click on [System Defaults].
  5. Under User Preferences, select Off from the dropdown next to Startup page.
  6. Click on [Save Changes].
  7. Close the browser.

If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

ColorQube 8580 : WASTING PAPER every time it is switched on!

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello.

Trying this post again with a different subject in the vein hope of getting more attention from Xeron who seem to think this function is "OK."

We have a fire safety requirement to switch this printer off each night. Each morning when it is switched back on it prints out 9 sheets of menus and settings etc.

Can this function be switched off? Terrible waste of paper and ink for a "green" printer.

Thanks,

Ian.
