While our ColorQube 8580DN was idle, we heard a grinding sound, then the error code 94,700.00:55339 appeared on the display. We have powered down the printer, and unplugged it. Upon restart the error remains. Can anyone tell me what the error code is and what has to be done to clear it.

This is a Printhead Tilt Fault Code. It's mean there is a syncing problem with the printhead and then the boot-up can't go any further. Mostly due to a part that has broken down inside.
I suggest you phone-in for a service call.
In the future, when searching fault codes for the device, drop the end number (in this case 55339)
It isn't actually part of the fault, it is the amount of pages run through the machine when the fault occured.
