Hi again!
Hmm, does sound weird, do not understand why the machine would'nt recognize the hole punch unit.
What about turning off the machine again, remove the power cord and the connection cable to the finisher, and reseating the cables after a few minutes?
Hopefully someone else has a better idea as to why this happens.
Best Regards

Paper tray is the large default tray #3 (ordinary 8 1/2 x 11).
I tried the method suggested of restarting the power after removing the staples. Sounded interesting. But the result is.....
Afterward, the hole punch option vanished entirely from both my PC screen and the machine panel. In that sense, it now matches the Centreware screen. The Installable Options now says "Hole Punch Unit: Not Installed”. Before the restart it said “Installed”. (Still grayed out.)
The hard copy configuration report on 11/12/14 in the Machine Hardware section said “Finisher Punch: Present”. That was while we were having the problem but before the finisher reset. After finisher reset, that section says “Finisher Punch: None”
Restarting the printer again, with staples, did not change it. The staple function still works.
Hi again!
What paper tray are you using and how is the paper oriented in the tray?
Also try removing the staples from the finisher and while having them out restarting the machine as this will reset the finisher.
Put the staples back and try to do a copy with hole punch once more, does that work?

Hi :-)
I tried both making a copy on the machine face, and printing a document from my PC. Selecting the hole punch option from either of those methods had no effect. No holes were punched.
Hi !
If you try to make a copy on the machine, does the hole punch work?

Hello,
Hole punch function has stopped working on our Xerox ColorQube 9302.
On both my PC and on the copier’s touch pad, you can select Hole Punch but the paper doesn’t get punched.
I emptied the punch tray though it wasn’t very full.
When I display Installable Options from my PC (printer properties > Configuration > Installable Options) , the Hole Punch Unit setting is “Installed” (the options are all grayed out).
On the Centreware screen (Properties > print settings > Defaults) I see a Staple setting but Hole Punch isn’t listed. Don't know if it is supposed to be listed there. The stapler does work.
Help please?
