Re: ColorQube 9302 missing tray options

Hi glensmith1337,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Are the drivers loaded locally at the PC?  If so remove the driver, reboot the PC and reinstall the driver making sure that it is the one for the correct operating system.  Follow the instructions to make sure the Installable Options which include tray four have been setup in the driver. If this does not help please consider contacting your local support centre again.

Thanks,

ColorQube 9302 missing tray options

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a strange problem, We have a ColorQube 9302 in our office which a few of us connect to over the network. We sometimes use tray 4 (bypass) to print labels as they often become stuck to the cylinders inside the printer if used in the internal trays. So long story short, everything was working fine up until the point where the machine was turned off for a planned power outage. After being rebooted it only gives some users the option to print on trays 1,2 & 3. I'm currently sat with 2 of my colleagues and they are both running windows 7, they only see those trays. I however, can see all trays without any problem on my windows 10 laptop. We are all connected over network and I have even tried removing and adding the printer again but it had no effect.

We contacted Xerox support yesterday and a service representative had me reset the software on the printer. Once it had booted up again I had one of my colleagues try printing from tray 4 and she could. Soon after she tried printing a document and found that the option was no longer there. What makes things stranger is that we have another printer (the same model) in our sister company which is on the same LAN (we use it in emergencies) and my colleagues have all the tray options available for that printer.

Has anyone heard of this sort of bahaviour before? I'm finding it quite frustrating.

Thanks

Glen
