Hi NapaSan,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the environmental specifications. If the humidity is too low it can cause the static to build up. Also make sure that the paper is stored in a climate controlled area. If you continue to have trouble, please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Our 3 year old Colorqube 9203 recently started having this issue that our technician can't seem to diagnose or repair. We've placed 4 service calls on it, and our tech has replaced a couple of parts (not sure exactly what), but the problem is still occuring.
For the last 2 months our machine has been sporadically pulling multiple sheets from tray 5. So far, the issue seems to only occur when pulling from tray 5, and happens mostly during double-sided printing. When separating the pages, the issue appears to be static.
We buy & use only Xerox copy paper for this machine. We've been very conscientious lately about fanning the reams when we load the machine.
Anyone else having this same problem and/or have suggestions for a fix?
