Colour correcting to printout CYAN - tried everything and it just won't do it!

Product Name: VersaLink C400 Color Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I've tried making several changes via the image options tab in the utility app that comes with the C400 in an attempt to get CYAN to print out as CYAN / aqua but no matter what I try, the printer keeps printing it as blue. I've tried making various changes back and forth for lightness, contrast, cyan to red, magenta to gree, yellow to blue. What am I missing? Any suggestions? Or should I just accept my C400 can't print out the shade I need?
