Re: Colours Incorrect - Versalink C8000

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Solid magenta comes out as a red shade and no amount of fiddling with settings is improving it. How do I get help in the uk?

Re: Colours Incorrect - Versalink C8000

Hi Ssmith,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the article called How To Modify the Output Color Using the Color Options in the Print Driver to set the color to one of the display options and try the print again.  If that doesn't correct it please consider doing a color calibration using the article Perform Color Calibration.   The color calibration should be a last resort since your machine is new.  I think changing the output color in the driver should help you to match the colors you are seeing on your screen / display.  If this does not help or you require further assistance please consider contacting your support centre.

Thanks,

Colours Incorrect - Versalink C8000

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 8.1
Hi,

We purchased a Versalink C8000 but just cannot get the colours to print out correctly.

The blue and yellow seem OK, but magenta seems to be where the problem lies. All pinks / purples / reds are printing out completely different to what is on the screen.

We printed a graphic that was 50% red, 50% purple, but when it came out the printer there was virtually no difference in each colour.

Is this a common problem with this printer?

Does anyone know if there is a solution in place?

We had a Xerox Engineer out today and he said there is absolutely no issues with the printer in terms of hardware. The printer itself is brand new and in mint condition. All toners are originals and everything is spot on. He suggested it will be a software issue but gave no other advice.

If anyone knows anything about this please help out.
