Re: Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

If they are lirerally the same model( both C8145/55) and both on the same version of firmware, then you can try cloning the machine that works and applying the clone to the machine that does not work. Aside from that, a technician would probably have to reload the software.

A feature you can use which is essentially the same is " Erase Customer Data". The machine does a factory reset and reloads the Software using the firmware on the SSD instead of a tech's USB. Login as admin> device> tools> general> erase customer data. You will have to confirm you want to do it 5 or 6 times then it will start.

Obviously, make a clone first. It will enable DHCP when it resets so you might have to go to the device or you can try writing down the hostname beforehand and pinging it to see if you can get the IP. Once it's done you would apply the clone and see if it's fixed.

A lot of trouble for one user not being able to print lol is the print server option not possible?

Re: Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

So I have tried using the smart installer from the device. That did not resolve the issue. Just for fun I tried printing to the same model copier that we have in a different building. Same model, same driver, same settings, same documents; the only difference is ip and copier name. That printed without issue.

Re: Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

  • It's weird that only one user is having issues with the GPD.. but if it's only one user then it's the workstation, not the printer.  Maybe try browsing directly to the C8145 and run the smart installer? Make sure you choose advanced install though and choose the V3 version.. you don't won't the V4 version which it will choose automatically if you don't do advanced install. Or pick s PC to always be on and turn it into a print server for that one user.. share the driver for them.

Re: Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

It is windows 11. I have fully deleted drivers and packages and reinstalled the Xerox Global Print Driver v5675. That is the same driver that ever other user uses without issue, including on the same device. I don't think that there is an error with that driver. I also could not find any settings that may be causing an issue.

Re: Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

If the issue is only happening for one user, then it is not the fault of the printer. It is something to do with that workstation. Firmware updates probably won't help. Is it a windows PC? Did you only right click and choose remove device or did you go into print server properties and delete the driver files and packages?

Hello cl810,

Sounds like you have tried everything already, so it would be a software escalation: 1-800-821-2797

Completed with Errors: Unable to Store

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 11

I have a user that cannot print anymore. In the job queue it shows completed with errors: unable to store. Any other user on that same device is able to print without errors. I have reinstalled drivers. I have restarted spoolers. I've checked for firmware updates and software updates. I cannot find what is causing this problem. Any help would be appreciated
