Re: Component Failure Determination on 700i

I don't think it's the MCU either. I'm going ahead to replace cables. Thanks for your help.

Re: Component Failure Determination on 700i

I forgot! At that time I replaced also twice the MCU PWB without success.

I'll give that a try before I go any further. Thank you so much.

Re: Component Failure Determination on 700i

Hi,

It could be the flat cables. I had one machine where I replaced twice the ROS. Finaly I replaced the cables and the problem was solved. Even the cables look good it could be defective. But it is possible to be an MCU issue.

Component Failure Determination on 700i

Product Name: Xerox 700i/700 Digital Color Press

I have gotten the following fault codes on 700i:

061-342, 061-236, 061-317

I have checked all flat cables and re-secured them. I figured the problem was the M/Y ROS but now on machine startup I'm getting:

061-319 and had one intermitant  061-329 indicating the problem is the C/K ROS.

Now it seems more likely the problem is with the MCU PWB.

What do you think? Is there something else I could be missing?
