Hi, Vitorio!
I'm not sure how you do it in XPadmin, cause I never used that tool.
But if you do have the correct PPD you can do as described HERE.
Best Regards

Please remember to select "Accept as Solution" for posts that helped you solve the issue.
Well, switched the language to English, installed the updates of CentOS and rebooted the computer. That solved the text displaying issue (don't know what step exactly).
Now I'm reading the help file of XSUS to figure out how to configure accounting (the printer is discovered and shows in the xpadmin).
With some luck I'll figure it out by myself, but as always, any help is appreciated.
Cheers!
Hello,
I'm fighting to setup a Xerox Workcentre 5330 on a CentOS 6.5 box. The Xerox WorkCentre is running fine on Windows PCs and have accounting enabled (so I can't use the generic postscript driver).
What I did:
1) Downloaded the Linux driver (Xeroxv5Pkg-Linuxi686-5.10.108.609.sh) from Xerox support page. Ran the script as root. Got a window asking to agree with the contract, then quickly another screen saying something and the scripts ends.
This didn't finished the setup on CUPS.
Then I googled for some help.
2) Found that I would need a PPD file for CUPS. When I tried to download the PPD file for Windows. Setup CUPS to use the WorkCentre5330.ppd
Now the printer shows in the system-config-printer but there is no option to configure accounting.
Then I googled again and found that I would need xpadmin that is installed with the driver XeroxLinuxi686xpxx_4.50.11.tgz that you can get from the support page of Workcentre 7120 for example.
3) So I installed this driver that gave me an error
/usr/bin/lpq: error - unknown destination /tmp. ............................................................................................................................................................................. [root@localhost XeroxLinuxi686xpxxInstall]#
But it installed. And when I launch xpadmin I get the GUI without the texts in it:
I guess that if I'm able to make xpadmin run normally, I will find the option to configure accounting in it. Am I right? Anyone knows why xpadmin is showing without language texts? My locale is French - France [fr_fr], maybe this is the source of the problem?
Kindly appreciate any help on this!
Cheers!
