Hi,

Check the paper in the tray, the paper tray feed rollers, check the paper path for remaining paper or contamination, also take out the fuser module and check for toner build up on the stripper baffle.

Constant paper jam when duplex printing

Hi,

I'm getting very, very frequent paper jams on a 7830, when dual-side printing is used.

When the problem occurs, there's always a completely ragged sheet at the fuser level... One of the symptoms (just before getting stuck) is also that while printing, when the sheet quickly shows right above the output bin, I guess thus before the second side is printed, one of the corners is bent over several centimeters, which is very probably the reason why it then jams completely a bit later...

Any idea of the cause of this ??

And no, I don't have any maintenance contract on this machine, which I bought on Ebay years ago...
