There can't be a solution here, A problem is posted, a person who is very qualified to troubleshoot the issue asks a very relevant question to the issue that would have lead him to the next steps, he was never answered at all, and you jumped in and basically said "Me too", and yet did not answer the very relevant question.

Does the same problem occur when using the document feeder on the top? if that's what you're using, does the same occur when putting the original directly on the glass?

When I copy a full page document the copy comes out only half the document shows up with it centered on the paper in about a four inch wide strip.
