Re: Crooked Prints

Jump to solution

It ended up being just one tray that printed crooked. I checked the pickup rollers and they were perfectly clean. Then I started searching the whole printer fo rollers and the ones on the inside left cover of the printer needed cleaned. Gave them a good bath with some wipes and it appears to be back to printing straight!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

It can't actually print crooked, what happens is the paper feeds crooked, so it will be a roller.

See if it is the same amount of crooked from all trays, if it isn't, the tray that does it has a bad feed roller

Crooked Prints

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a Phaser 5550 that has decided to start printing crooked. The pages come out perfectly flat, no wrinkles or visible signs of odd wear, but the prints are just turned about 10 degrees clockwise on the page.

A new maintenance kit was put in a few months ago but its been printing fine since until the last week. Does anyone have an idea as to what would cause this? Is there a way the drum could be doing it?

Thanks!
