Re: Different colour screen and prints WorkCentre 7545

Powerpoint is one of the worst applications to print from, it is not at all intended for print and does not handle CMYK or the conversion to it at all well.

Realistically, any designer should know to output to pdf and print that, and don't take my word for it, take it from the guy who designed the MS print engine.

Failing that, they could try the PCL driver, which will usually output better from programs that don't handle color properly in the first place.

You could try setting Color correction to LCD display, (or sRGB display) but that will affect all jobs including the ones that were designed for print (and not in a good way)

Different colour screen and prints WorkCentre 7545

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have a WorkCentre 7545 machine.

A customer wanted us to print a PowerPoint 2013 PPTX presentation.

On screen the dias had a.o. the standard colour orange. We choosed the automatic colour setting (recommended) and in print the colour orange (RGB: 255, 102, 0) changed in dark pink, almost purple.

We now want to know how it is possible that this problem happened to us and what can be the solution for the future.
Unfortunately we didn't ask our customer for a copy of the file.
