I created a config file but it turns out to be a .MDL file.  I don't see this file type in the driver installation package.  Any ideas? :)

if you look in the manuals of the global driver , there is a method to create predifined configuration files for those new drivers ... if you have that config file , you can replace it in the driver setup

next time you install that package then , the defauls settings are already set...

Recently we installed a Xerox Color 550 XC PCL6 in the office.  After installing the printer on any computer, a default option is set to print a banner page separating print jobs.  You can turn this option off in the printer preferences.  However, I have two questions:

1. Is there a way to install the printer/drivers with this option being disabled as the default?

2. Where is this setting stored? I don't see it in the registry or in any files. I'd like to turn the setting off on any machines that I installed the printer on, but forgot to disable the setting.

Any help would be appreciated :)
