Re: Disable Banners without WiFI

Again you completely miss the point .I have NO WIFI!  Not just no network, no WIFI CARD etc

Again i didnt miss that ,No Need for wifi No need for network no needfor wifi card etc , all what you need a smart phone "android " or tablet or laptop

I asked mulitple times how can one do this without WIFI

the printer will generate a wifi signal and you will connect to that signal from your mobile or tablet or laptop

how to make the printer generate that wifi signal ???

Go to the previous

and you repeatedly tell me how to use WIFI to do it.

i mentioned also a workaround by using the global print driver " if you dont like to activate the wifi direct "

check the last paragraph on my reply

Re: Disable Banners without WiFI

Hi Again

There is NO NEED for a wifi network here all the thing if your printer connected by usb then you need  to enable a feature called "wifi direct " from the Xerox Easy Printer Manager program which allow you to connect to the printer's WiFi signal.

simply after activating that feature go to the available wireless networks on your laptop or mobile and search for the name of your printer in the wifi network list , once you find it connect to it & you will be in the same network of the printer .

To enable or disable the banner page:

Important: To perform the steps below, you must have a WiFi capable device such as a computer, smart phone, or tablet. This procedure uses a Microsoft Windows 10 PC as the WiFi capable device. Steps will vary depending on the device used.

  1. Open the Xerox Easy Printer Manager program.
    1. At the computer, click search and type Xerox Easy Printer Manger.
    2. Click on Xerox Easy Printer Manager to open the program.
  2. Select Advanced Settings, hover over Device Settings, then select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings, hover over Device Settings, then select Network Settings

  3. For WiFi Direct, select On to enable the feature.
  4. Make note of the IP Address displayed. For example, 192.168.3.1. This address will be used later to access the printer's web interface (CentreWare Internet Services).
  5. For Network Key, enter a password that contains at least 8 characters. This password will be used later to connect to the printer's WiFi Direct signal.
  6. Click Save to save the settings.

    Click Save

  7. From the WiFi capable device (a Windows 10 PC in this example), connect to the printer's WiFi Direct signal:
    1. On the Windows taskbar at the bottom, right of the screen, click on the network icon (network icon or wireless signal icon) and then click on the printer's WiFi Direct signal.

Click on the printer's WiFi Direct signal

    2. A prompt to enter a network key will be displayed. Enter the password created in step 5, and then click OK to connect.

  8. After you have successfully connected to the printer's WiFi signal, access Xerox CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS):
    1. From the computer, open an Internet browser window.
    2. In the Web browser address field, enter the IP address of the printer noted in step 4 and then press Enter or Return. The CWIS home page will be displayed.

Note: If you are accessing Xerox CentreWare Internet Services for the first time after printer installation, you will be prompted to change the default Administrator Account password. The initial default password is the printer serial number. See the Related Content for additional information on how to change the default Administrator password.

  9. Click Properties.

Note: Many features in CWIS require an administrator user name and password to access or modify. If prompted to enter Administrator Account login details:
    1. For User Name, enter Admin.
    2. For Password, enter the administrator account password that was set during initial access to CWIS.
    3. Click OK.

  10. Click Services.
  11. Click Printing.

  12. Click Banner Page.
  13. Select Enabled or Disabled.
  14. Click Apply.

Click Banner Page, select Enabled or Disabled, then click Apply.

Usually you can disable the Banner sheet from the driver level & i tried to download all the drivers which are related to B210 to see if it possible to do that but it seems that xerox remove this feature or hide it from the driver

AS another  workaround in your case you can install the Xerox Global Print Driver  from Here

and you can disable the banner sheet from the printing defaults

Disable Banners without WiFI

Product Name: Xerox B210 Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

I do not have WiFi. My computer is connected via ethernet and my computer via USB.  I tried to connect to the printer with my phone and while I can see it, it never takes the command to change my password and times out and disppears.  What is the default password and how else can you change this to stop WASTING paper with banners on a stand alone direct connect printer.
