right click the driver/printer , choose properties...
you dont have to disable bidirecrional , just that other setting below to disable send notifications...
How do you get to "driver properties"?
Also, I don't think you can disable bidirectional when you're using ethernet. are you sure about that?
when you open the driver properties , go to congiguration , go to bidirectional setup , uncheck that setting there :)
I'm posting this for one of the uses I support.
After every print job that's sent to his Phaser, a dialog box pops up saying "(document name) was sent to (printer name)."
It's very annoying because when it pops up it grabs the focus away from the window in which I was working. And in this case it's particularly useless, since he's the only user and the printer is sitting on his desk right next to his iMac.
Is there any way to turn that message off?
Printer: Phaser 8560N
Connection: Ethernet
Computer: iMac
OS: Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8
