Disable the change of the paper tray, when the tray is empty

Hi 

im not sure if this option is available for the print option in this model ,but for copy yes it is avilable 

1. At the printer control panel, press the Machine Status button.

Note: To access this feature at the control panel, log in as an administrator.

2. Touch Service Settings > Copy > Paper Supply Auto Select Policy. 3. Select On or Off, then touch OK.

For the print usually the job can move between the trays if the trays have the same settings "Size,Type ,Color"

i suggest you to change the paper Type\ color for each Tray , for examble set tray 1 to be as white paper and Tray 2 to be as a Blue or anything else ... by this you force the printer to stop the auto changing for the tray
you can do that on the tray settings Box which it will be available to you whenever you open\close the tray to reload new stock .

and make sure to match the same settings on the print driver on PC when you want to submit the job

We have installed a second paper tray (550 sheets). When the normal paper tray is empty, it automatically prints with paper from the second tray. Is there a way to disable the automatic change of the paper tray. Since we have stationery with a logo in the second paper tray, we do not want to continue printing with this paper tray.
