Hi,
Just to make sure, please print a A3 full of cyan, do a scan and post it here please.

I was able to work on the copier this weekend and got to the ROS and opened it up and cleaned the mirrors and glass and got evrything back together, but I still have the stripe in the same spot. I know it was mentioned that if cleaning did not help it, then I had a bad laser, but before I buy a new laser (ROS), could it be ANYTHING else?
I will work on it this weekend and let you know (hopefully with a kudos) what I have found. I do thank you for your quick response and knowledge.
Yes. Laser is the ROS
Hi,
Let me see if I can help you, I'm not a field engineer. I'm assuming that the band is completely white. No toner on it. You may have a problem on the laser. Try to go to the Cyan Laser, open it and clean the mirror. Please be careful when you open it. If this doesn't help, you need to replace the laser.

The problem I am having on our Docucolor 240 is there is a white band or stripe that runs the length of the paper and is only in the cyan. I have changed color drums, I have bought and replaced the developer unit for the cyan and it is still in the same place. I have run a test pattern and was able to catch it on the transfer belt and you can see the area does not have toner on it. I need to get this fixed quickly, but can't find any one in our area that works on a docucolor 240. If someone can walk me through areas to look for, I do have a tech manual that will help me to get there.:smileysad:
