Hi kidztchr7, 

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure that the paper is loaded in the proper orientation and that the paper guides are right up against the edges of the paper.  Make sure the paper size is set on the printer, in the print driver and in the document you are printing.  If all of that checks out and it is still shrinking please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Document prints 40% smaller!

Product Name: Phaser 6022
Operating System: Windows 10

On same documents, this happens on my school Canon laser printer, and my home (Xerox) printer!

When I type a Word document (8.5x11), and try to print it on 8.5x11 paper, it comes out about 40% smaller than the document looked on my screen. I set the paper size correctly, but now it says "the paper in the printer does not match the paper size of the document". How do I get this to print the document the way it looks on my screen? With some documents it does--with others, it shrinks to 60%.

 

Please help!
