Hello kaika313,

That's a strange issue. Since no one has responded on here with experience with this issue, I would recommend contacting our Support Department. The contact information for Support is HERE.

Double print after energy saving mode

Product Name: WorkCentre 3210/3220
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello,

I know it’s an old printer but…
We’re using a WorkCentre 3220. It’s connected via Ethernet cable and installed with PCL driver on a Win 10 Pro x64 PC.
The strange issue is that when the printer is in stand-by mode and a print is send to it, it comes out 2 times.

This happens only for the first print that “wakes up” the machine.

I’ve disabled bi-directional communication thinking that for some reason it could cause this problem but the result is the same with both PCL and PS driver. So what I think it’s happening is that when the computer sends the file to the printer while it’s in energy saving mode and it does not receive a response within an expected time it sends again all the data so for this reason the copy comes out 2 times.

Do you think I’m correct? If so what I can do to avoid this if possible?

Thank you

Kari
