I am trying to print a two-sided cover for my multi-page document.
I have a WorkCentre 4250XF with 4 trays. Tray 1 has PLAIN WHITE, tray 2 has CARDSTOCK, tray 3 has PLAIN BLUE, and tray 4 has HOLE PUNCHED.
I am using the latest PS driver.
I have a multi-page document with a double-sided cover followed by double-sided pages. I wish to draw the cover from tray 3 (BLUE), and the remaining pages from tray 1 (WHITE).I attempt this by going to the properties page and choose the following:
Job Type: Normal Print
Paper: Letter (8.5" x 11"), White, Plain, Covers
2-Sided Printing: 2-Sided Print
Finishing: No Stapling
On the Covers dialog I choose the following:
Cover Options: Front Only
Front Cover Paper: Blue, Plain
Print on Both Sides
When I print, page 1 goes on the first blue cover sheet from tray 3. Page 2 prints on the first white sheet from tray 1, pages 3-4 on next white sheet from tray 1, and all the rest from tray 1.
My problem is that the cover sheet should get both page 1 and page 2 (two-sided), but it is only printing the first page.
After spending 2 1/2 hours with Xerox support, still no joy.
Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Thanks.
Kevin
