Re: Dropping Network & Factory Reset

There are many reasons a wifi connection will drop (including using a microwave, or a hands free landline (voip) telephone that uses the same carrier frequency.

however, I would look into upgrading the printer firmware. Ironically you will need to be online to do that!

Dropping Network & Factory Reset

Product Name: Xerox B230 Printer
Operating System: macOS 12 - Monterey

Hi, I've got two issues:

1.  My B230 has now twice dropped off my wifi network for no discernible reason.  The network settings on the printer have been cleared somehow.  Any idea what's going on here?

2.  I'm trying to set it up again and having difficulty.  I prefer to use the "Easy Assist" app but it can't join the printer's network.  It actually doesn't appear that the printer's network is activated.  And I can't get the printer to go into "initial setup" mode.  I tried a factory settings reset but no luck.

Grateful for any help!

Thanks,

Set
